The Desert Lagoon offers you a breathtaking view of the desert overlooking the canyon, it is the perfect place to admire the sunset, and enjoy the swimming pool, with a blue background and turquoise water. It is the best place to take som rest.
The pool was built according to the Bio-design model : it is made of sand and quartz cast in a porous resin. This material makes it possible to reproduce the idea of a sandy beach since water penetrates the material unlike a tile or cement.
This beach feeling is made even stronger by the general shape of the pool, which gives the impression of a real natural resurgence or oasis around which we have set up camp.
The design of the pool does not include any construction iron or concrete for a total respect of the environment. When designing the pool, we have drawn the shape of the pool by hand, then a waterproofing cover covers the pool and we spread sand mixed with resin by encrusting rocks of larger or smaller size which reinforces this idea of a natural source. The finishing is done by hand and as the resin is porous, we install in an intermediate step a system of nozzles that allow to make massage areas like in a Jacuzzi.
This swimming pool also has a small beach on which we can lie down in 10 to 20 cm of water while contemplating the stunning view of the Atlas Mountains and the canyon that borders the camp in the Agafay desert.
